Gage Park
An urban style park in the Brampton area, Gage Park is the oldest municipal park in the area. It was opened up in 1903, and it now boasts a gazebo for gathering, many trees, flower gardens, a main fountain, playground, wading pool and paved trails for walking, biking or rollerblading. There are evening concerts all summer long. In the winter, you’ll love the temperature-controlled skating area.
Donald M. Gordon Chinguacousy Park
This is a park that is located within the Bramalea section of Brampton. It’s quite large, so you can easily find some quiet spaces to relax. There’s easy access nearby to Queen Street East and Central Park Drive, so you can grab a bite to eat, sightsee or do some shopping after you’re done enjoying nature for a bit in the Donald M. You can fish with the kids at the lake, there’s a new pool that you can swim in, a splash pad is perfect for the little ones and there are two zip lines that you can traverse down.
